In Florida alone: 

• 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men experience domestic violence in their lifetime.

• Shelters are often overcrowded, underfunded, or compromised, leaving many survivors with no safe place to go.

• Survivors frequently face barriers such as transportation challenges, lack of emergency housing, and fear of retaliation, making immediate escape nearly impossible. Widows Web Inc. addresses this critical gap. By offering mobile, rapid-response safe housing, we ensure survivors have a secure, confidential place to go—saving lives when traditional resources cannot respond quickly enough.

Your support provides immediate safety, critical resources, and long-term pathways toward independence. When survivors are faced with fear, uncertainty, and the difficult decision to leave an abusive situation, your contribution ensures they don’t have to walk that journey alone.

Our organization operates essential programs designed to protect and empower survivors at every stage of their recovery. Donations help sustain the Mobile Safe House Initiative, which provides rapid extraction and relocation for women in immediate danger. They also fund trauma-informed advocacy, legal support connections, counseling referrals, and emergency essentials such as food, clothing, transportation, and temporary shelter.

Beyond crisis response, your generosity supports our Empowerment & Recovery Programs, giving survivors access to confidence-building workshops, mentorship, and life-skills training. These resources help women rebuild their sense of stability, self-worth, and independence after experiencing abuse.

• Acquire, equip, and operate additional mobile safe houses.
